OF MAYOR & ALDERMEN
Kimball is governed by a Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
Each member is elected to a four-year term. Currently,
all board member positions are part-time. The Town of
Kimball Board of Mayor and Aldermen meet in the town
meeting room on the first Thursday of each month at
6:00 p.m. unless otherwise advertised.

Bylaws 
The planning commission is appointed
by the Kimball Board of Mayor and Aldermen and consists
of a total of seven (7) members; two (2) members of
the Board of Mayor and Aldermen; the other five (5)
members are citizens within the town. The board consists
of the follow members:

The planning commission normally
meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
The planning commission reviews site plans and subdivision
plats.

Board of Zoning Appeals
The
zoning appeals board is appointed by the Kimball Board
of Mayor and Aldermen and consists of a total of five
(5) members which are citizens within the town. The
board consists of the follow members:
Chairman - Martha Holland
Secretary - Scott Hawkins
Member - Rodger Ford
Member - Rance Castle
Member - Butch Maynor
The zoning board only meets when
necessary. The board reviews zoning appeals by those
within the town that do not comply with the current
regulations. And they address any changes made to the
zoning map.

Parks & Recreation Board
The park and recreation board
is appointed by the Kimball Board of Mayor and Aldermen
and consists of six (6) members which are citizens within
the town and one (1) member of the Board of Mayor and
Aldermen. The board consists of the follow members:

The park and recreation board
meets on the second Thursday of each month. The board

Beautification Committee
The committee has completed the
work at the Town of Kimball sign at Glovers Hill.
The committee and town employees have worked on the
front of town hall with some shrubbery, flowers, mulch
and decorative border. This committee has been working
with Brenda King, with Wal-Mart Supercenter. Wal-Mart
has incorporated a PSP Program that promotes giving
back to the community. Keep your eyes appealed for the
work by the Committee.
